Tips On Preparing A File For Printing.

With technology being available to just about everyone, more and more people are purchasing design programs and are creating their own designs and graphics. If you are designing your own graphics and artwork; here are some basic tips you can use to create your files so when you want to have them printed, they will be created correctly to ensure the best quality product.

-Create your file at a high resolution to maintain high quality when printing.

-Use vector art when creating a file which will be enlarged to very big proportions or a graphic that will be used in various sizes. This will eliminate the chance of pixilation.

-Create your file at the exact dimensions that you want it to be printed.

-Save your file to a PDF or JPEG format. This will ensure that all the layers of your design are flattened. This will prevent layers from moving around and fonts won’t be lost. But be sure to save the file in the format of the design program first so that you can make revisions in the future to the original file.
